Kabam
Kabam was a leading interactive entertainment company based in San Francisco that developed and published massively multiplayer social games. Founded in 2006, the company became one of the most successful social gaming companies of the Facebook era, building strategy and RPG titles that attracted millions of players worldwide.
The company grew rapidly, reaching over $400M in annual revenue and employing over 800 people across multiple studios. Kabam's titles included Kingdoms of Camelot, The Hobbit: Kingdoms of Middle-earth, and Marvel Contest of Champions. The company was acquired by Netmarble in 2017 for a reported $800M.
I worked on the frontend engineering team during a period of explosive growth in social gaming, building game interfaces, localization systems, and cross-platform deployment tools that enabled Kabam's titles to reach global audiences across web, iOS, and Android.
